Announcement
Effective January 1, 2022, Dana Fielding, USASF Associate Director of Rules and Safety, will be stepping away from her role due to personal and family considerations. Dana’s commitment to the All Star cheer community as an advocate for growth and safety on both the domestic and global levels has been impactful beyond measure. Her commitment and dedication to the USASF have been integral to our success in All Star and she will be greatly missed. Moving forward, please contact Andre Carter.
With a combination of happiness for her and sadness for us, we announce the retirement of Mary Wendt, Director of Dance Education for USASF. We won’t easily forget how much her unconditional dedication, grace and congeniality inspired us to do our best each and every day. We thank Mary for the many contributions she made to the USASF. Please reach out to your USASF Regional Director in Mary’s absence.

Coach App Tips and Updates for YOU
As the season heats up, it may be time to send your skills in for a legality review. Be sure to read and follow the guidelines for the best results. Here are a few of our Top Tips:
Allow 10-14 days for review of your video and be aware response time is likely to increase leading up to major event weekends due to the volume of inquiries.
Do not submit a portion of a video (watch 1:30-1:45); videos must be of a single skill or sequence of skills.
Please submit your video only ONE TIME. If it's showing in the app, it's been received.
Only eligible coaches and gym owners will be able to join the team in the warm-up room/area and compete at Worlds. Being eligible means:
Active USASF coach membership.
Complete eligibility requirements for membership through their USASF member profile (green light background check and completed SafeSport Course).
Be listed on the team roster.
CHEER ONLY: Be credentialed through Level 6 in either building, tumbling or both.
CHEER ONLY: If coaching a Level 7 Worlds team, credentialed through Level 7 in building and 6 in tumbling.

Tools to Enrich your Club
Wellness Essentials is a series of short, one- to five-minute videos for coaches, athletes and parents that introduce important topics like working with parents, encouraging a healthy program, motivational techniques, incorporating balance and fun into your practices and more. Here’s a Road Map to learn more at a quick glance. Topics for the months of December-February include relaxation techniques for athletes and safe talk training and mental health first aid training for coaches. Shining the light on adoption awareness
Join USASF Independent Event Producer DX Events and owner Lisa Saline to help raise adoption awareness and Bridge Forever Families by donating to PEYTON'S PROMISE. Since its debut in 2010, Peyton's Promise has raised over $35,000 to provide grants to help babies find their permanent homes. 100 percent of check or cash donations goes towards a $3,500 grant that assists parents with finalizing their adoption.
