Dear All Star Program Owners and Event Producers:
Happy Friday! As everyone prepares for a long weekend, we'd like to share some positive information with you. Over the last year the All Star Community, like many people and businesses, was hit hard by the pandemic. What makes All Star unique is our ability to come together and collaborate to find solutions. Today we are sharing with you the 2020-2021 IMPACT Report that reflects the many ways we came together to ensure a stronger All Star for tomorrow.
Beginning in March, 2020, our USASF Staff and Connection Leaders began an outreach effort that provided a platform for discussion, innovation, and problem-solving with one main goal. That goal was for All Star to survive. Under the direction of Kathy Penree, Connection Chair and now Interim President of the Board of Directors, we created pathways for owners, coaches, event producers, athletes and experts to come together, express frustrations and roadblocks, and work together to provide solutions. Experts contributed in the areas of health and safety, mental health, government loans, business strategies, and leadership tools. Not only did All Star meet the goal of survival, but the innovation, adaptability, and creativity that emerged over the last year will most likely change All Star for the better.
In the midst of these hardships, it is often difficult to recognize the magnitude of the accomplishments, but we felt it was important to explore and evaluate all we have accomplished together. As we began to grasp the significance of these efforts, we felt it was equally important to share these with you, our valued members. We are proud of each owner, coach, athlete, and event producer who persevered to ensure our athletes could count on All Star. We are sharing this brief video from Kathy Penree and the 2020-2021 IMPACT Report with you.
We are incredibly grateful for each and every member and we are incredibly proud of All Star as we are stronger together for a stronger All Star of tomorrow.
Congratulations to you and your staff for all that you have done. Have a wonderful weekend!
