The summer months are the perfect time to explore your leadership potential and discover the pathway to becoming an effective and authentic leader at a USASF Virtual Leadership Workshop and enhance your cheer and dance skills by joining us at THE National Conference and Master Classes & Combine led by industry professionals.

 VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP

ATHLETES IN ACTION is created for athletes (grades 6-8) who learn from our USASF Leadership Facilitators during a fun and interactive virtual leadership training designed specifically for their age range geared towards learning leadership styles and forms of communication applicable to the team dynamic. Participation includes:

  • introduction to USASF Leadership training and preparation for BOLT 

  • includes the AiA worksheets to be used throughout the training and after

  • digital certificate

B.O.L.T. workshops are designed for high school-aged All Star athletes. This virtual workshop will help you learn about communication and leadership styles that will benefit you as you navigate All Star, school and beyond. Participation includes:

  • includes the leadership workbook to be used throughout the training and after

  • eligible for advanced leadership training in the Fall

  • digital certificate 

  • Eligibility to apply to the AAC in July

  • USASF Scholarship points

MASTER CLASSES | COMBINE |

WORLDS ATHLETE AMBASSADORS

Elevate your training by joining us on July 11 in New Orleans, LA, for our DANCE MASTER CLASSES & CHEER MASTER'S DAY open to all levels of cheerleaders and dancers. Space is limited.

 

The Cheer Master's Day features a holistic approach to your training, addressing the physical, mental and emotional aspects of performance with industry experts Rain Athletics on proper jump technique, mental performance lab led by Julie Jones, the opportunity to work with athletic trainers, and Debbie Love's famous strengthening program.

 

Dancers will feel energized during the Jazz class from the head coach of THE Ohio State University, 11X National Champion and 2X ICU World Gold Medalists in Jazz and Pom, Melissa McGhee, have fun grooving while learning hip hop choreo from Oscar, 'BIG O', Hernandez, NBA/NFL/collegiate choreographer and America's Got Talent S12 competitor; and the sideline class will boost performance skills and will show what it takes to grace the sidelines of one of the top collegiate dance teams in the country.

 

CHEER & DANCE COMBINE
Discover the pathway to a college cheer or dance team and learn how to find the best fit academically and athletically. Make connections with in-state and out-of-state coaches to gain valuable insight, while college coaches may seize the opportunity to scout potential cheer athletes for their college cheer and/or STUNT teams.

WORLDS ATHLETE AMBASSADORS
Athletes, ages 12-18, participating in Master’s Day and/or Junior Coach and Athlete conference sessions can be invited to serve at Worlds Athlete Ambassadors. Go behind the scenes at The Cheerleading Worlds and The Dance Worlds 2025 and work closely with the USASF social media team to interview participants, follow teams through warmups and post live updates of the competition. IN-PERSON LEADERSHIP

Back again, Athletes in Action will be offered at The National Conference on July 12-13! Cheer and dance athletes entering grades 6-8 participating in the ATHLETE TRACK at the conference will take part in this 2-hour session and learn hands-on from our Leadership team. 

 

JR. COACH TRACK

The National Conference offers a JUNIOR COACH TRACK exclusively for 14-17-year-olds, providing movement-based and educational classes. PLUS, participants of the Jr. Coach track who pass the written test and attend all required classes on July 12-13, will become a USASF CERTIFIED JUNIOR COACH!
