Giving hope and motivating others is something that All Star Cheer and Dance Athletes do naturally. Especially during this unsettling time, it is helpful to focus outwardly and give back to others so USASF and the Athlete Alumni Group collaborated to bring you A Season of Service, an opportunity to give back to the community and bond together. Share what you, your club or your teammates are doing to serve others. Challenge each other to serve during this time of uncertainty because when All Star comes together - it is impactful!

Unity Day UNITES
USASF invited its members to stand up against bullying and spread kindness for the month of October, culminating with National Unity Day on the 21st. It was wonderful watching All Star Nation turn social media orange for the day. Thank you to all of you who spread the #KindVibes with us — let's keep them going for the rest of the season!
All Star In the News
On October 16 All Star owner, Jen Koonce, and her All Star athlete sons, took the stage to battle it out on the Disney Fam Jam television show against another family of dancers. Their performance was amazing and they definitely relied on skills learned through All Star, like being able to make last-minute changes, to nail their performance. Great job Koonce Family!

Apply for a College Scholarship
Meet the USASF 2020 Cheer College Scholarship Gold Winner, Skylar Wechsler from The California All Stars. Skyler's an alumni Athlete Advisory Council member where she uses her voice to speak up for athletes who otherwise would not. She ran the Healthy Kids Challenge enabling athletes to build better habits for diet and exercise (she even created a website for the HKOS participants!) and presented her findings to the Regional Advisory Board. Skylar is attending Vanderbilt University where she is studying neuroscience on the pre-med track! Remember to encourage your High School Seniors AND EXCEPTIONAL ATHLETES to apply for the USASF College Scholarship this month. Full details can be found in their Athlete Portal using the drop down menu by their name at the top right.
