Have your Junior Coaches utilize the What’s your IQ Junior workbook to create an implementation strategy for the use of the series. They can divide the lessons among themselves and present the activities in small groups. Parents will enjoy their children leading the discussions and it will look great on their resumes too! Join us in celebrating National All Star Cheer and Dance Day September 12, 2020. Log in to the Member Resource site, click Participate > select NASCDD to access the official 2020 NASCDD materials including the dance, custom music, logo and planning guides. While some clubs may not be able to host an in-person NASCDD this summer, we will be providing you with ideas in The Connection on how to host a safe celebration or VIRTUAL EVENT. On July 25, the CheerUP! DMV rally was held in District Heights, MD, bringing Black-owned cheer programs together to provide a platform for athletes to be able to stand up against racism. Athletes spoke, sang and shared the six anchor phrases — Stand Up, Speak Up, Link Up, Pull Up, Level Up, Rise Up — with a socially-distanced crowd. Prior to the event, athletes were encouraged to submit short essays with the top essay receiving a scholarship to be used for their cheer endeavors. The athlete-centered event was a hit and a great representation of All Star! Check out the CheerUp! DMV site to learn more! #ThisIsAllStar
