THAT'S A WRAP FOR WORLDS 2022!

As the 2021-22 season comes to a close, we also say goodbye to the 18th Annual Cheerleading Worlds and the 15th Annual Dance Worlds Championships. The 2022 Worlds celebrated the thousands of athletes and coaches who worked tirelessly and safely to sustain All Star as an important sport in their lives over the past year despite challenges. We’re so pleased with the high level of participation, especially by our international All Star teams, and congratulate all the winners whose performances earned them the title of World Champion. Oh, what a difference a year makes! After coming off a cautious 2021 Worlds without international representation, teams returned with renewed energy this year, making Worlds 2022 a success! Numbers at a glance:

Since 2008, the USASF has awarded nearly $750,000 to more than 200 well-deserving athletes, giving college-bound seniors and exceptional athletes the opportunity to apply for college scholarship funds. CLICK HERE to meet the Class of 2022!

Wish Granted

USASF had the honor of being chosen as this athlete's Make-A-Wish. Savannah, from Iowa, wanted to meet two specific Senior teams at Worlds and we were thrilled to make that happen for her, in addition to meeting our Executive Director Ali Stangle. Thank you, Cheer Athletics, Cheer Extreme and Ali for making Savannah's wish come true!

USASF's First College Fair

Thank you to the colleges and universities that participated in the first College Fair at Worlds! They provided unique opportunities for coaches and athletes to connect and speak about goals, both college and beyond. We're excited for the future of the fair!

New division to be offered in 2023

With the bottom age of the Open Division rising for the 2022-23 season, concerns were brought forward from the membership about the future of the Kick Category at The Dance World Championship. After much research, discussion and approval from the USASF Board of Directors, we are happy to announce the addition of the Senior Kick Division/Category beginning at the 2023 Dance Worlds Championship!
