BACKGROUND SCREENING PROCESS

As a reminder of our commitment to protecting athletes and all members, USASF membership for anyone 18 and over who accompanies a team into a warm-up or backstage area at all USASF-sanctioned events requires background screening through the USASF Screening Provider linked in their membership profile.

The screening process follows requirements of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and, as a result, has become more restrictive to include legal offenses in addition to sexual misconduct. Any member who is flagged by this reporting must follow the established appeals process for membership consideration.
