Athlete safety depends on all of us acting together. The USASF is the only All Star organization that has implemented safety processes and practices aligned with the US Center for SafeSport, and the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Our jurisdiction covers members, so we must remind everyone that USASF membership is vital to our safety efforts. Membership resources help fund expert third-party oversight, in-depth processes, policy development, investigations, appeals, educational resources, technology and so much more to help All Star Clubs and Athlete Members.
The Code of Conduct & Compliance
The USASF’s Code of Conduct & Compliance is a foundational element for promoting safety. Everyone in the USASF should read and understand it. As an organization, and with your help, we must educate everyone about our safety processes. Please READ THIS INFORMATION on USASF Athlete Safety. This is the same information your coach or club owner might have shared with you.
Additional Safety Protocols Available
We know many of you are now relying on the USASF Adult Directory as well as the Unified Ineligibility List, which is great! The USASF Adult Directory allows you to search for those with a current USASF affiliation or membership and who have a current green-light background screening and completed abuse prevention education. At this time, our jurisdiction covers members and applicants. If an Adult Member’s name does not appear on this list, it could mean they didn’t apply, they do not meet and/or have not completed the membership requirements, or their application is paused pending investigation or appeal. Please help us, help All Star promote Athlete Safety. These resources help increase the layers of safety for the All Star community.
