Dear Coach,
Our records show that your USASF coach membership has expired. This means you are not yet included in the USASF Member Directory. Parents of athletes use this directory to verify that coaches and other adults participating in All Star are USASF members who have satisfactorily completed background checks and athlete protection training. It gives them confidence to know that those listed have taken the steps to be cleared to work with minors.
When your name does not appear in the directory, it leaves parents and others in the All Star community wondering:
- Did this person apply for membership?
- Was this person unable to pass a background screening?
- Has this person taken abuse prevention training?
- Does this person know what to do as a mandatory reporter?
- Is this person under investigation by the USASF?
- Has the USASF restricted their membership privileges?
- Has this person been denied membership?
