Dear USASF Member:
Many of you may have seen the announcement on April 12th that Jim Chadwick, who served as President and Board Chair, retired from USASF after nearly 18 years. The USASF Governance and Compliance Committee has appointed Kathy Penree, USASF Board member and Chair of the USASF Coaches Connection, as Interim Board President, and Alison “Ali” Stangle, currently Executive Director of Rules and Safety, as Interim Executive Director of the organization. We are thankful for all Jim has done for the organization and look forward to continuing the vision and integrity grown to support the future of our sport.

Meet Your National Advisory Board
The National Advisory Board is democratically elected to support athletes and members by addressing emerging issues of broad potential impact and developing policies for the organization when needed. The Cheer and Dance National Advisory Boards were combined in 2019 into one NAB in an effort to streamline conversations and planning that affect both cheer and dance while allowing for separate conversations that are relevant to one or the other. The Connection adds New Members!
The USASF Connection is the path for involvement for program owners and coaches. The Connection provides opportunities to collaborate, contribute, share resources and mentor USASF members, all in an effort to promote the longevity and viability of All Star. Congrats to the Worlds Cup Race Winners!
Congratulations to the Paid and At Large Bid Winners of the Worlds Cup Race. The points calculations for this year’s Worlds Cup Race resulted in multiple ties, so we followed the tie-breaking guideline used at The Cheerleading Worlds to break the ties. Those guidelines specify that the team with the least amount of total performance error deductions (given by the judges at the event) will win the tiebreaker.
