The deadline for coaches and club owners to apply for a seat on the USASF Board of Directors is June 30, 2023.
As the largest membership organization in the All Star community, the USASF values diversity within our leadership team and aims to include individuals who are closely connected to our most precious members—our athletes. Are you a fit for this position?
Ideal candidates may meet one or more of the following criteria:
- at least five years of experience as a USASF coach and/or member
- served on USASF and/or other professional committees
- served dual roles within the USASF, such as coach/owner or coach/choreographer
- professional experience in areas like finance, leadership or other related fields
- unique experience and viewpoint
- industry mindset that encompasses the bigger picture
The Commitment
- two-year term
- monthly Zoom calls
- attendance at the BOD meeting during the annual national meeting
- attendance at an annual, two-day BOD meeting in October/November
- estimated 10 hours/month
Application/Selection Process
All applications will be thoroughly reviewed by a selection committee. All eligible USASF coaches and club owners will have the opportunity to vote on the seat on July 22.
