NEW Dates for Worlds 2021
As we plan The Cheerleading and Dance World Championship for 2021, we continue to work closely with Walt Disney World® as well as monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). After an ongoing review of the most recent COVID-19 information available, coupled with a Bid Event season that is being pushed later, the USASF has requested new dates to allow more bid recipients to join us safely in Orlando. The Dance Worlds will now be held May 6-7, 2021 and The Cheerleading Worlds on May 8-10, 2021 at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. Learn more by visiting The Cheerleading Worlds and The Dance Worlds.
NEW Ways to Earn a Bid to Worlds
Any Cheer or Dance Worlds Division Teams that attend three 2020-21 USASF Sanctioned Competitions (in person or virtual), one of which must be a 2021 Worlds Bid Qualifying Event, can apply to be awarded a Worlds Applicant Bid!
All Level 6 and 7 cheer teams entering one or more of the approved USASF Tier 3 Member Events will receive points based on the size of their division and placement rankings. At the end of the season teams with the highest point totals will win 3 Paid Bids and 3 At Large Bids to The Cheerleading Worlds, 2021.
