Cheer-Worlds-4C-logoThe United States All Star Federation and the International All Star Federation host just two competitions a year-The Cheerleading Worlds™ and The Dance Worlds™. Event producers of premier championships sponsor their best teams to compete at these international competitions. Cheer and dance teams from all over the world may qualify to compete in either Senior or International divisions.

In 2020, an event producer may award up to $25,000 for each team they sponsor with a paid bid to The Cheerleading Worlds™. Given this, and the fact that many event producers award multiple bids, it's easy to see that substantial resources will be allocated to support teams that have participated in their competitions. Event producers select teams of the highest distinction from their premier events to represent their respective companies at The Cheerleading Worlds™.

Bid Events

The 2020-2021 Cheerleading Bid Events are held by event producers that are members of the USASF. These are USASF sanctioned events, and the teams selected are of the highest distinction to represent the respective companies.

When
2020-2021 Competition Season (November 1, 2020 – April 5, 2021)

Bids Awarded By USASF: 3 Paid ($650 per athlete/plus 2 coaches) and 3 At Large

Process:
At the conclusion of each declared National Championship, the Event Producer will have to email their Level 6 and 7 Team results to Steve Peterson at speterson@usasf.net.
Note: For the purpose of the USASF Cheerleading Worlds Cup Race, with divisions that were combined, the Event Producer will enter the results as if the divisions were all separated.

The system will automatically calculate the points for each team. Points are calculated based on ranking and number of teams in the division. There will be a maximum of the 5 highest calculated scores per team. At the end of each week the current standings will be available to see on the USASF website.

At the end of March/early April, once the USASF Cheerleading Worlds Cup Race results are complete, the USASF will award three (3) Paid Cheerleading Worlds Bids to the Level 6 and/or 7 Teams with the three (3) highest point totals (Paid: 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place teams) and (3) At Large Bids. If any team already has a Paid, the Cheerleading Worlds Paid Bid will go to the team with next highest score who does not already have a Paid Bid. If any team already has a Paid or At Large Bid, the At Large Bid will go to the next highest score.

Scoring

The Worlds Score Sheet Committee is headed by Ali Stangle, the USASF Director of Rules and Safety and Worlds Scoring. Helpful Tip
Let your Event Producer know ahead of time that your CheerABILITIES team will be qualifying for a bid to The Cheerleading Worlds™ and will need a copy of their performance on DVD/flash drive before you leave the event. In many cases, the video staff can pull your routine after your performance and save you the wait time!
